David & Chelsea Lee (Washington, DC) — David and Chelsea each found swing dancing in 2005 and never looked back. Since meeting one another at 2 o'clock in the morning at the 2007 DC Lindy Hop Exchange, they have crafted a dance partnership dedicated to Collegiate Shag, Balboa, and Lindy Hop. They hold several dance titles, including 1st place at the 2009 Canadian Shag Championship and 1st place at the 2010 Amateur American Classic Balboa Championship. They especially excel at breaking down mechanics in a way that is accessible and fun for dancers of all levels and learning styles and are known for their boundless enthusiasm on the dance floor. When not tearing up the floor in DC, they can be found honing their skills and having a grand time at dance events throughout the United States and Canada.
